Thank you for your continued support of the programs at Cusseta Road Elementary School. We have increased student achievement by implementing many new and innovated strategies and programs in reading and math. We were named an Outstanding Achievement School by the State of Georgia in 2004. We made Title I Distinguished School of Excellence status in 2006. We continued our efforts to increase student achievement by making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) again in 2007.

The uninterrupted literacy and math blocks that we put in place are working. I encourage you to visit and volunteer at Cusseta Road. Although visitations are not allowed during the uninterrupted literacy and math blocks, you may check with your child’s teacher for a good time to visit your child’s classroom. Always stop by the office so we may greet you and give you a visitor’s pass.

The Parenting Room has a full-time coordinator to work with parents, provide materials and offer workshops. Activities include
