MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT
WINS DISTRICT 6 SPELLING BEE

Orin Lincoln, an eighth-grade student at Double Churches Middle, is the
winner of the District 6 Spelling Bee held Saturday, February 23, 2008, in
Perry. He will now compete with other district winners and runner-ups
in the state spelling bee on Friday, March 21, 2008. The competition will be
held in the student center at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
The winner of the state competition will compete in the National Spelling
Bee in Washington, D.C., this summer.
