PAGE ONE WINNERS
The Page One Awards honors the outstanding achievements by
high school seniors in several school districts in the area. The 33rd Annual
Page One Awards, sponsored by the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, was held May 7
in the Bill Heard Theatre at the River Center for the Performing Arts.
Students are selected based on exemplary academic records and contributions
to the school and the community.
Three of the seven MCSD students were introduced to the
Board during the May meeting.
ART – Harriet Ngo, Columbus High
ATHLETICS – Kelly Ellison, Hardaway High
CITIZENSHIP - Morgan Coles, Spencer High
DRAMA – Kara Felton, Columbus High
FOREIGN LANGUAGE– Emily Auerbach, Columbus High
MATH – Cyrus Vafadari, Columbus High
SCIENCE – Eryn Maynard, Columbus High
