MARSHALL WINS MULTIPLE AWARDS IN STATE TECHNOLOGY
COMPETITION

Students in the Marshall Middle School Technology Student Association (TSA)
won multiple awards in the State TSA Conference competition held in Athens
March 6-7, 2008.
Keon Boswell won third place in Graphic Design and Deon Sanks won third
place in Multimedia Challenge rThe Marshall chapter won ninth place in the
state with the Outstanding Chapter Award.” Several students placed in the
top ten as finalists. Two students earned trophies for their
accomplishments.
Marshall Middle School has the only TSA organization and Middle School
Extended Day Program in Muscogee County. This is the chapter’s first time
attending the Georgia State TSA Conference, and the students were excited
about the new educational opportunity. Other chapter activities included
leadership training and fundraising.

During the April Board meeting, the students, their sponsors, and the
assistant principal, Tamura Magwood, were presented to the Board.
