DEDICATION CEREMONY HONORING TWO BROTHERS AT KEY

A dedication ceremony in memory of Arturio and Alijah Rozier will be held Friday, May 9, 2008, at Key Elementary in the gymnasium at 9:00 am. The ceremony is in honor of the two brothers, who died Saturday, May 3. The principal, faculty, staff, and students will dedicate “Field Day” to the memory of the brothers, who attended the school.

“In honor of Arturio and Alijah we will host a dedication ceremony and plant two trees in front of the campus,” said principal Donna Hart. “Art banners created by teachers and students will also be on display.”

Muscogee County School Board member, Reverend Joseph Roberson, will be a guest speaker. The Spencer High School band will also perform. Following the dedication ceremony, representatives from the second and fourth grades, the student body president, and other assistants will move to the front of the school to plant trees in honor of the boys.
