COLUMBUS HIGH STUDENTS WIN RECOGNITION
IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE COMPETITIONS

Yan Xu, Jenniver Kiefer, and Meghan Dunn, students at Columbus High,
placed 14th in the Level 4 competition at the National Japan Bowl held in
Washington, D.C., on March 21 and 22.
The three students placed first in Level 4 competition at the Annual
Southeastern State Japan Academic Challenge Bowl, which was held at Spelman
college in Atlanta on Saturday, March 29. The competition tests the
achievements of high school Japanese language students throughout the
southeastern states.
The following students participated in the Southeastern States Japan
Academic Challenge Bowl.
