BLACKMON ROAD WINS DISTRICT
GIRLS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Blackmon Road Lady Eagles defeated Marshall 51-37 to capture the
district girls basketball championship. Kym Ellison had 22 points, and Joi
Iverson added 11. In the semifinal game, Blackmon defeated Midland 53-41.
Kym Ellison had 18 points, and Joi Iverson had 15. Blackmon Road finished
with an overall record of 15 and 2 with an 11-1 record in league play.
