ARNOLD WINS DISTRICT MIDDLE SCHOOL
BOYS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2007-2008
Arnold defeated Richards January 25 to win the district middle school
boys championship. The teams split the regular season with each team having
a 10-2 record. In the championship tournament, these top-seeded teams
were tied at the end of regulation play. In the overtime period, Arnold
scored first and never lost the lead, winning by a score of 53-50. Jeff
Blanton led the scoring for Arnold with 18 points; Torrion Brummitt and
Courtney Jackson had 14 and 13.
