RICHARDS MUSICIANS MAKE ALL-STATE

Mary-Ann Ionascu, clarinet, and Elizabeth Strickland, bassoon, of Richards Middle School are the only Muscogee County area students to make the Georgia Music Educators Association All-State Middle School Band. Briggs DeLoach, also from Richards, made trumpet alternate. This is the third consecutive year that Richards has had the only middle school students in the district selected for this honor. Morris Foor is the band director at Richards.

The band will perform at the Savannah Civic Center on March 3, 2007.
