Ramon Williams of Spencer Receives Two Honors

Ramon Vernon Williams, III, of Spencer High School was
the recipient of the Alexander Hamilton Citizenship Achievement Award
for 2007. This award honors the talents and achievement of America’s
young leaders. Ramon was nominated by his school counselor, Maxine West,
and is the only student from Georgia to have won the award.
He was also recently selected to be a Congressional Page
in Washington, D. C., and he will be serving this summer. Congressional
Pages are chosen based on their academic standing. He is the son of
Carol Foster and the late Ramon Vernon Williams, II.
Ramon was introduced to the Board during the May meeting
by Dr. Billy Kendall, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent.
