On April 28, students from Midland Middle, Richards Middle, and Columbus High were first-place winners at the National
History Day State Competition in Macon. Several of the winners
were introduced to the Board during the May meeting. Sue Funk of
Midland Middle was also recognized as one of 10 teachers in the US
selected to participate in a special program.
