COLUMBUS HIGH PLACES THIRD IN STATE CHEERLEADING COMPETITION
The Columbus High School Varsity Competitive Cheerleaders placed third in
the state at the State Cheerleading competition held in Columbus at the
Civic Center, after placing first in the Region. During the December
Board meeting, Chief Student Affairs Officer Eddie Obleton presented them to
the Board.
Varsity Cheerleaders are Cortney Laughlin, Courtney Braxton, Sammy Cook,
Mary Margaret Culpepper, Sarah Hackaday, Claire King. Caitlyn Klobe, Lauren
McDonald, Elise Parker, Katie Powell, Kim Willis, Missy Fontana,
Alyssa Henry, Maggie Reese, Kaleigh Beauchamp, Cassidy Drysdale, Catie
McRae.
