Three Blackmon Road students won honors in the Optimist Club
Oratorical Contest held at the CB&T Uptown Building March 8. Hamilton Wise
(seventh grade) and David Mason (seventh grade) placed first and second,
respectively, in the boys’ division, while Priyanka Chatterjee (eighth
grade) placed first in the girls’ division. The topic was “My Greatest
Challenge.” Each student received memorial medallions, and Hamilton and
Priyanka also received cash awards.
