Five Schools Receive State Awards
2006 Single Statewide Accountability System
Award Winners
Georgia’s Single Statewide Accountability System encourages schools and
districts to establish aggressive academic goals in their quest to move
beyond adequacy to educational excellence. Awards are divided into platinum,
gold, silver, and bronze levels for two categories: greatest gain in meeting
and exceeding state academic standards or highest percentage of students
meeting and exceeding state academic standards.
