OPERATIONS & SAFETY
The Operations and Safety Department oversees the housekeeping operations of 5.85 million square feet of floor space in buildings constructed from 1905 through 2008. The department instructs and trains the housekeepers of approximately 65 school sites with floorings of quarry tile, concrete, wood, vinyl tile, resinous tile, and terrazzo. This department, in conjunction with Property and Risk Management, is also responsible for safety awareness throughout the district. |
