Plant Services is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of 240 buildings with a total of 5.85 million square feet of floor space. Additionally, the department handles landscaping, erosion control, grass cutting, and environmental maintenance for 1,474 acres of land. The football field at Kinnett Stadium, which supports system-wide athletic activities, is also maintained by Plant Services.
