| REPOSTED - (THERE IS NO NEED TO REAPPLY IF YOU APPLIED FROM LAST POSTING, YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED). 240 day position - Grade 23 - Reports to Director of Technical Services. Salary Range $49,960 - $62,200. This position is responsible for managing the implementation, upgrade and maintenance of the district's networking and telecommunication infrastructure and associated resources. These include servers, MDF/IDF's, telephone systems and wide area and local area network cabling plant. Coordinates and oversees installation of new cabling/communication systems; reviews specifications and drawings for facilities projects involving data installation and performs related inspections and evaluation; may personally install some cabling/communication systems and/or components. Oversees contract management for network services related activities including RFP process, vendor selection, contract monitoring, and post-implementation evaluation. Bachelor's degree and three years of supervisory experience in computer science or related field and four years experience in planning and implementing LANs and WANs; or any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work.
