Dale Hall of Plant Services was honored
by the Board during the January meeting for his selection as winner of the
December ABCD Award.
From the Nomination Form
As your survey the various campuses across the school district, pay
attention to the sidewalks, handicap ramps, and curb cuts which facilitate
the movement of pedestrian traffic. Mr. Dale Hall, Masonry III Mechanic, is
our resident artist. His work can be seen throughout the District formatted
in concrete. Whenever a portable classroom is placed on site, Mr. Hall is
there pouring and finishing concrete for the steps, ramps, and sidewalks.
Mr. Hall can be seen making repairs to concrete steps, ramps, and
sidewalks damaged by weather, vehicular traffic and pedestrians. The repairs
ensure safety for all personnel using the sidewalks, ramps, and steps. Like
an artist, Mr. Hall is meticulous and precise working with concrete.
Twice a year, Mr. Hall spearheads a team of Plant Services employees who
are interested in making a difference in our schools and community. This
year, he was instrumental as Plant Services completed their 3rd Annual
Thanksgiving Project providing complete Thanksgiving meals to fourteen
families. Also, his contributions enhanced their 3rd Annual Christmas
Project providing toys and clothes to twelve students located at three
schools: J. D. Davis Elementary, Cusseta Road Elementary, and Muscogee
Elementary. The gifts to students were obtained through donations valued in
excess of $100.00 each.
Mr. Hall is a dedicated and loyal Muscogee County School District
employee who is making a difference on the job, in the schools, and
community.
