The Georgia Online Assessment System (OAS) website contains practice items for the Georgia Criterion
Referenced Competency Test (CRCT) and the Georgia High School Graduation
Test (HSGT). The CRCT is given in grades 1-8 and the GHSGT is first given in
grade 11. This website was created by the Georgia Department of Education in
conjunction with Riverside Publishing to provide students with practice in
preparing for these two high-stakes tests. NOTE: Although there are
practice science questions available for the GHST, that test item bank is
incomplete for the other core subject areas.
Teachers are encouraged to use the OAS website with students at school.
Parents are also encouraged to use the website with their children at home
for extra practice. Teachers can contact their assigned Instructional
Technology Specialist for more information. Parents can contact their
children’s schools for instructions on accessing the site. Each student
and teacher has been assigned a login and a password. The
OAS
informational website will answer many questions about the
practice tests and procedures.
