Mission

The Mission of the Internal Auditing Department of the Muscogee County School District is to insure that every department/school is a good steward of the public moneys and assets that have been entrusted to us by the various State, Local, and Federal agencies, as well as clubs and organizations.

Goals

• To insure proper accountability of the financial resources of the department/school audited
• To insure compliance with School Board policies and procedures
• To promote efficiency and effectiveness of operations
• To provide ongoing Activity Fund audits and other operational audits as directed by the Superintendent
