Mission
The Mission of the Internal Auditing
Department of the Muscogee County School District is to insure that every
department/school is a good steward of the public moneys and assets that
have been entrusted to us by the various State, Local, and Federal
agencies, as well as clubs and organizations.
Goals
- To insure proper accountability of
the financial resources of the department/school audited
- To insure compliance with School
Board policies and procedures
- To promote efficiency and
effectiveness of operations
- To provide ongoing Activity Fund
audits and other operational audits as directed by the
Superintendent
